Anker Prime 25,000 mAh Power Bank Review

 

I have been using this power bank for quite a while now and I can say that this is very useful especially when you travel. Yes, I already brought this as hand-carry during my domestic and international trip. 

Per policy of the airline (in my case, Cebu Pacific), it should be lithium-ion batteries and watt-hour (Wh) should be at 100 only and if the capacity is between 100Wh to 160Wh, proper approval from the check-in counter should be requested. When you get the Wh of the powerbank, you need to determine the mAh and its voltage then use this formula: Wh=(mAh x Voltage)/1000. This power bank’s specs fits the requirement:

(25,000 mAh x 3.7V)/1000 = 92.5 Wh

To make sure, I confirmed this with the crew during our baggage drop. Even during our Macau to Manila flight, they allowed it. I was actually worried that time since they were really strict in checking the power banks though I’m confident that this power bank will not be a problem(hihi). 

As for the usage, I never experienced a 0% battery especially that I am the one checking the maps, and saving the screenshots of our bookings and tickets. I was able to charge my 2 phones, camera, and my portable wifi in one day.

The power bank has 2 cables, 1 built-in and 1 retractable, already attached to it for USB-C gadgets, and 1 slot for a USB C socket and 1 for USB A. The lowest battery percentage it gets every end of the day, for me, is at 30%, so I just charge it at night for the next day.

As for the weight, it is slightly heavy due to the higher mAh but I was able to manage it. Here are some of the features that might make you think of buying it😍
